SEMIS (powered by Opensis) can be run on secure cloud-based servers, or installed on a local network server or standalone computer. The system has been developed in PHP using an MVC framework, enabling it to be installed on most platforms, including Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh and Linux operating systems. While Opensis Core is distributed with a MySQL database, it has been designed to work with most common web server and database server technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
