ABOUT THE COURSE;

 

The Course: SMEs are the power house of a developing economy, yet bank lending in support of SMEs remains very challenging. The demand for alternative funding routes and realistic funding strategies is placing a lot more pressure on executives in SMEs. We take you through the critical thinking around preparing your business for successful investment together with relevant knowledge of other funding routes.This is a combination of three unique courses, in three days.

 

DAY 1: Raising Finance- Crowdfunding and other alternatives for SMEs.

 

The emergency of Web 2.0 has transformed the social interactions. The online network enables people around the world to interact with each other. We will look at the business model of two UK's P2P platforms, and introduce you to the business model analytical framework, applicable to all business ventures.

 

DAY 2: Current Trends in Corporate Governance: A Useful Agenda for Small and Medium Businesses.

 

The workshop aims to inform managers and directors about the current trends of corporate governance. The workshop will allow attendees to integrate some of the best practices to their businesses and improve their accountability and performance. .

 

DAY 3: Achieving successful funding strategies for growth.

 

The course involves understanding the investment process and steps to develop strategies to attract investment interest.
